Cyran's Lament

I made this Illustration featuring my OC Cyran and his pressures of being the descendant of the Dark Elderdragon. His people revere him and regard him divine, but it puts him under immense scrutiny and stress. He spirals through his woes when his father tells him, “Your ancestors are watching you, Cyran. They watch with bated breath every move you make. They await the day you free our people.”

His role as the protector of his people requires his hands to be full of blood. But just because the ends justify the means, doesn’t mean the blood doesn’t stain.

For Cyran, being the protector of his people is both an honour, and a curse.
